Prospective candidates are subjected to a rigorous assessment process based on a combination of skills profiling, behavioral interviews, DISC profiling, and multi-tiered reference checking. As we submit candidates, we provide our clients with customized interview tools which help them to differentiate between applicants and to clarify their preferences. A Lauber Search Partner will actively support a client throughout the search process until an offer is accepted.

  • Role definition including a position scoping meeting with appropriate individuals in your organization to identify key characteristics that you would like to have in the position.
  • Develop a detailed “Litmus” specifically for the position to measure how each candidate compares to your job description and critical characteristics identified in our scoping process.
  • Develop a slate of candidates.
    -Candidates identified in our direct recruiting process.
    -Candidates known to us from our years of experience.
    -Candidates you develop in your networking efforts.
  • ​​Grade candidates against the “Litmus” to begin to limit the pool.​
  • In-depth screening of all candidates who score high on the “Litmus” with an eye toward finding both a technical and cultural match.
  • Detailed reference checking of appropriate candidates.
  • Detailed criminal and credit background checks of appropriate candidates.
  • Detailed DISC behavioral profile of appropriate candidates.
  • Assistance developing interview questions.
  • Selling the merits of your organization and the position from the prospective of an independent third party.
  • Provide a “Ranking Grid” to differentiate between candidates during the interview process and to help you conduct effective interviews.
  • Submit a slate of at least 3 candidates for interviewing.
  • Coordination of interview scheduling.
  • Debrief, rank candidates and determine the next step.
  • Coordination of the offer and acceptance process.
  • Guarantee to reconduct the search if the employer or placed candidate terminates employment relationship in first 120 days.
