01 Understand

Understand your current situation and what your assumptions might be going forward.  The purpose of this phase is to make sure you are considering all of the pertinent facts (industry environment, technology, regulatory considerations, market, market segments, competitors, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, …) as you begin to develop your strategies for the future.

02 Envision

Make decisions regarding strategy and growth based on all the factors noted above.

03 plan

Create action plans supporting the strategy, conduct departmental planning and decide on KPIs to measure your progress.  This requires significant specificity so you can have a clear path to growing your business and clear measures of success.

04 perform
