Scott Rasmussen

Rasmussen is helping drive the growth of the firm, setting strategic direction, developing new service offerings and leading new business development efforts. Over a 14-year period, Rasmussen was an owner of Waterstone HR, LLC, growing it to one of the largest HR outsourcing organizations in the Midwest before selling it to what is now known as EmPowerHR. After selling his company, Rasmussen formed Focus Matters, a business catalyst firm working with privately held companies seeking to grow their organizations to the next level. Prior to leading Waterstone, Rasmussen served the business community for 17 years as a senior leader of Firstar (now US Bank)’s commercial lending business.
